SQL Injection allows attackers to execute malicious SQL statements and gain unauthorized access to sensitive data, modify, delete data, or execute arbitrary system commands. This vulnerability was fixed by replacing raw SQL query string concatenation with parameterized queries to strictly separate SQL commands and user data.
